Diamond vs others
Lab Grown vs. Mined Diamonds
Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds, identical to earth mined Diamonds. Their origin is the only thing that distinguishes them from earth diamonds. They are created in a controlled environment using the same formula used by nature to form diamonds, but the lab process happens quickly and a diamond is made within a matter of weeks. LGDs are man-made at lower expenses, in a shorter time span, are sustainably sourced and more affordable.
Cubic Zirconia vs. Diamond
Cubic zirconia is a diamond simulant which is a lab product of zirconium dioxide i e. crystal. Its chemical composition, life and value is far below that of a diamond.
Moissanite vs. Diamond
Moissanite is a gemstone, which is a diamond alternative, of much lesser value. To a layman, they both may look similar, but, if we observe closely moissanite has a prominent rainbow sparkle, whereas diamonds are colorless. Diamonds are made up of the single element carbon and known to be the hardest mineral, therefore, are more durable.
